Individual Memberships

Annual Membership Dues
Annual dues for individual members are currently as follows:
  • Individual with income <$50,000 = $60.00
  • Individual with income $50-75,000 = $80.00
  • Individual with income >$75,000 = $100.00
  • Member of the U.K. Social Policy Asssociation = $60.00
  • Second family member = $50.00 (One family member must pay regular dues and second membership does not include JPAM subscription)
  • Student membership is $35.00
Beginning in August of 2008, APPAM will bill individuals for their annual dues renewals on a monthly basis. You will receive a request to renew your membership starting three months before your membership is scheduled to expire. For example, if you join APPAM in March, you will receive your first renewal request the following January.

The APPAM membership will be considering a proposal later in 2008 to increase the dues starting in 2009. If approved, the new dues also will involve changes to the income categories. APPAM has not changed the categories or the dues for nearly a decade. If approved, the new dues will be posted on this page by mid-November.

Membership Applications
APPAM now offers the ability to join, renew or reactivate a membership online by credit card or check payment. This system makes it very easy to supply your membership information and ensure you receive all membership benefits. Credit card payments made online will be processed using a highly secure payment portal operated by USA ePay affiliated with Network Solutions Merchant Services. No credit card information will be entered or stored on the APPAM web server. Online credit card payments will be processed within 24 hours of receipt. Please note that APPAM does not refund full or partial amounts of membership dues should you decide to stop a membership.

If you are a current APPAM member, the online system will require you to activate your password-protected login to the APPAM website. If you have yet to set up your login account, you will need to know your five-digit member number (found on any membership invoices). If you cannot locate your member number, please use the email contact form on this website to send a request to "Membership" at the APPAM office or call the APPAM office. In addition, APPAM is asking all current members to re-enter their membership data when using the online form. Our current data needs to be updated so that we can have accurate information about our members. In future years, the online system will allow members to edit their existing information.

To join, renew, or reactivate a membership, click the link below.

If you do not wish to use the online membership system, a membership form is available in Microsoft Word format: You may elect to pay by credit card or check when you complete and return the form to the APPAM office.
